IT'S TIME TO RELEASE

Hello Beloved,

Are you dealing with anger, sadness and fear? Do memories of shame, trauma and betrayal haunt your mind? Its time to release. Just as our bodies process and release naturally, your soul must do the same. The most liberating truth I’ve been blessed to know is, I do not have to carry burdens, fears, anger and sadness ever again. When you are a disciple of Jesus, you learn how to seek and trust the Lord in every circumstance and release it to Him. He wants it all and rewards those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11.6 The Lord wants you to know holding stuff in or stuffing feelings is just like your body holding in waste that needs to be released. God has given you an antidote, a cure to this dilemma that will heal your mental, emotional and spiritual health. It is the intimacy of prayer. Jesus said in Matthew 6.6 But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly.

Paul said in 1Corinthians 6, Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. This means God lives inside you, so your body is also a place of prayer. Your body is the tabernacle, your secret closet, where God resides and you can access daily.

1Peter 5.6 Amp. Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, 7 Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

While in prayer allow God to search your heart. Ask God to show you the source of your thoughts and emotions. He will lead and guide you to the truth.

The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Psalms 139.23

Call to Action:

  • Take a moment and seek the Lord in prayer. Inhale deeply, close your eyes as you exhale and drop down into your spirit.

  • Feel the pain attached to the situation. Locate it in your body

  • Allow God's presence to fill the room of your heart and the space where the pain is.

  • Release all your cares to Him, saying, "Father, I give it all to you. I cast all my cares to you. I release _______ into your hands"

  • Let Him love you and worship Him in this intimate moment. Empty yourself to Him and let him fill you with His joy, peace and love

  • Practice daily.
